Golf is a $80 billion dollar industry.  With 65 million golfers worldwide and growing rapidly in Asia, golf has become a universal sport and a favorite recreational past time.  Most golfers practice at the golf driving range (GDR), especially in Asia where the availability and cost of golf courses make it exclusive.  Just last year, over $5.1 billion dollars was spent hitting driving range golf balls in the U.S., Japan and Korea at over 8,100 golf practice facilities.  These facilities manage 405,000 driving range stalls where over 520 million buckets of balls are being hit per year.  What drives this volume are the number of golfers in Asia and the lack of available golf courses.  Korea, for example, has over 6 million golfers and only 515 golf courses.  To fulfill the golf craze, over 2,000 multi-storied driving ranges were built for golfers looking for better ways to learn, improve, and compete while building a social and business network of golfing buddies.  

IGOLPING™answers the need.  The user friendly system is a fully integrated self-service 32” touch screen kiosk loaded with robust swing analysis software, ball flight tracking systems, and world class simulated golf courses installed permanently at the driving range stall where the majority of golfers practice. The IGOLPING system is designed to enhance the experience with two key processes:  1) Learn to Play and 2) Play to Learn!  With over 90,000 teaching pros and over 65 million golfers, IGOLPING provides user friendly technology where Pros and students can affordably and conveniently utilize the system. The IGOLPING difference is the convenience of an outdoor designed, self -service kiosk where golfers can practice, play, and compete through 18 holes of world class golf courses at the driving range.  Using state of the art technology with the most advanced ball tracking system, high speed cameras, and an unprecedented 32 inch touch screen kiosk, any teaching pro, club fitter, or golfer would have world-class information about their swing and club.  The system is simply accessed with pay-per-play, pre-paid, or  member cards that encourage revenue volume by being affordable and available!  At $5 for twelve minutes or $25/hr to an economical $12/hr the kiosk can average upwards of $100 per day with 36% utilization in a driving range that’s open 15 hours per day.  With the potential to install 4,500 kiosks in 3 years, the install base will generate significant recurring revenue.   Please note that these are only proforma projections and actual results will vary based on demographics.
